Bi-color blue and green tourmaline specimen from Afghanistan with rainbows and natural step terminations - TR75 This bi-color tourmaline exhibits two distinct color zones — a blue section and a green section. Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral that can form in a wide range of colors depending on the trace elements present during its formation. The blue portion of this tourmaline gets its color from the presence of iron and titanium within the crystal structure. The green coloration comes from chromium substituting for aluminum in the tourmaline's makeup. In addition to the color zoning, this tourmaline also displays natural step-like terminations. These stepped terminations are a common growth feature in tourmaline crystals, resulting from the mineral's complex crystalline structure. Interestingly, this tourmaline also exhibits rainbows, which are caused by the refraction of light through tiny fractures and inclusions within the crystal. Tourmaline is found in igneous and metamorphic rocks around the world, commonly in pegmatite deposits. It's a relatively hard mineral, rating 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. Blue tourmaline is a crystal that brings calmness, communication, and spiritual awareness to your life. Its soothing blue hues symbolize tranquility and serenity. Blue tourmaline enhances your ability to express yourself with clarity and compassion, promoting effective communication and harmonious interactions. This crystal also stimulates spiritual growth and intuition, deepening your connection to higher realms and spiritual insights. Blue tourmaline supports your journey towards inner peace, self-expression, and expanded consciousness. *Comes with a free plastic specimen case* #FeatherlightDustTourmaline #FeatherlightDustRainbows #FeatherlightDust #tourmaline #greentourmaline #blacktourmaline #greentourmalinering #greentourmalines #greentourmalinejewelry #greentourmalineinquartz #greentourmalinenecklace #greentourmalineearrings #greentourmalinependant #greentourmalinestone #greentourmalinejewellery #blacktourmalinejewelry #blacktourmalinecrystal #blacktourmalinenecklace #blacktourmalinependant #blacktourmalinequartz #bluetourmaline #bicolortourmaline #tricolortourmaline
